Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

LET'S START WITH THE BODY: Begin with blue yarn: MR 6 sc, gradually increase to 30 sc by round 7.

Step 2

Round 8: switch to brown, 30 sc. Round 9: switch to light yellow, increase to 36 sc. Rounds 10-11: 36 sc straight.

Step 3

Rounds 12-13: switch to light peach, 36 sc. Round 14: decrease to 30 sc. Round 15: 30 sc. Round 16: decrease to 24 sc.

Step 4

Rounds 17-19: gradually decrease from 18 sc to 6 sc. Stuff the body as you go. Close with a needle through the front loop of the last stitches.

Step 5

LET'S START WITH THE BEARD: Make the beard with white yarn: MR 6 sc, gradually increase to 24 sc by rounds 7-8. Leave a long tail to sew onto the body.

Step 6

LET'S START WITH THE NOSE: Make the nose with light peach yarn: MR 6 sc, increase to 9 sc, decrease to 6 sc. Leave a tail to sew.

Step 7

LET'S START WITH THE HAT: Make the hat with yellow yarn: MR 6 sc, gradually increase to 48 sc by rounds 19-20. Fasten off and leave a tail to sew onto the head.
