Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Start the head with white yarn: MR 6 sc, gradually increase to 37 sc by round 7. Rounds 8-16: 37 sc straight.

Step 2

Place safety eyes between rounds 11 and 12, leaving 6 sc between them.

Step 3

Rounds 17-22: gradually decrease from 35 sc to 7 sc. Stuff with fiber before closing with a faux magic ring.

Step 4

START WITH THE SNOUT: Make 6 ch, R1: 4 sc, 1 increase in last ch, on the other side of the chain 3 sc, 1 increase = 12 sc.

Step 5

R2: increase, 1 sc, 1 sl st, 3 increases, 3 sc, 2 increases = 17 sts. R3: 2 increases, 1 sc, 1 sl st, 1 sc, 5 increases, 3 sc, 4 increases = 28 sts.

Step 6

Place the snout between rounds 2 and 3 and sew it onto the head between rounds 13 and 18.

Step 7

NOW WE START WITH EYEBROWS: Make 6 ch, skip 1 ch, crochet 5 sc. Leave a long tail to sew just above the eyes.

Step 8

NOW WE MAKE EARS: Make 10 ch and work in back-and-forth rounds: R1-8 combining decreases and sc to shape the ear. Outline with sc and increases in corners.

Step 9

NOW WE MAKE INNER EARS: Make 6 ch and work in back-and-forth rounds: R1-5 combining decreases and sc to shape the inner ear. Outline with sc and inc, then sew or glue onto the outer ear.

Step 10

WE END UP JOINING: Sew the ears between rounds 5 and 6 of the head, facing downward. Sew the keyring loop to the first round of the head.
