Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
BAG BASE: With nautical yarn and 5 mm hook, ch 27 + 1 to turn. Work in sc until reaching 10 cm in height. This will form the rectangular bottom of the bag.

Step 2
BASE EDGE: Upon finishing the base, work one full round of sc around the entire perimeter to set the shape. Then, work another round of sc in back loops only (BLO) to create the upward angle.

Step 3
BODY - PATTERN STITCH: Continue working in the round following the chart. The pattern repeats 14 times across the stitches. Close each round with sl st and ch 1 to keep the structure firm.

Step 4
BODY FINISHING: When the bag measures 16 cm in height from the base, work one last round of sc to reinforce the top edge. Fasten off and weave in the nautical yarn end securely.

Step 5
TUBULAR STRAP: Start with a 6 sc MR. Work in a spiral from the inside out, crocheting sc in back loops only (BLO). This will create a sturdy and aesthetic cord.

Step 6
STRAP MEASUREMENT: Continue the tubular crochet until the strap reaches 32 cm in length. Fasten off leaving a small tail to secure the ends.

Step 7
CLASP INSTALLATION: Take the 20 cm vintage metal clasp and place it in the top opening. Carefully sew both sides using matching color thread so the stitches are invisible.

Step 8
FINAL ASSEMBLY: Place the hinged rings on each end of the strap. Clip the rings to the sides of the bag, right where the zipper ends. Your Tiffany bag is ready!
