Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
The colors will be pale turquoise (A), mauve (B) and white (C). We'll use single crochet (Sc), decrease (Dec), increase (Inc). Stitches for each round will be indicated with P.
Step 2
The pieces will be worked in single crochet in rounds. A stitch marker will be used at the last stitch of each round.
Step 3
Color A: Start with a magic ring of 6 single crochets (6P).
Step 4
Make an increase in each stitch (12P).
Step 5
Continue with 4 single crochets, 1 increase (36P).
Step 6
Continue with 5 single crochets, 1 increase (42P).
Step 7
Work 1 single crochet in each stitch for 2 rounds (42P).
Step 8
With color B: Work 1 single crochet in each stitch. With color A: Work 1 single crochet in each stitch for 2 rounds.
Step 9
With color B: Work 1 single crochet in each stitch. With color A: Work 1 single crochet in each stitch for 2 rounds.
Step 10
To hang the ornament, you can crochet a chain and sew it to the end of the Christmas ball.
