Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Keep in mind that 10 sc + 10 rounds = approximately 10 cm. Make sure your tension is correct.

Step 2
Stitch explanation: I will use sc2tog (decrease 2 sc together): Insert the hook into the next stitch and pull up a loop twice, yarn over and pull through all 3 loops on the hook — this decreases 1 stitch.

Step 3
Notes: The sock is worked in a spiral from the toes to the heel. Then the heel is worked back and forth in rows over only a portion of the stitches. When the heel is complete, the leg and cuff are worked in rounds. Do not join the last stitch of each round with a slip stitch to the first stitch and do not turn at the start of rounds.

Step 4
To change yarn color, work the last stitch of the old color up to the final yarn over. Yarn over with the new color and pull through all loops on the hook to complete the stitch. Continue with the new color and cut the old one.

Step 5
The hanging loop is worked separately and sewn to the top right of the sock.

Step 6
We begin at the toes: Wrap the cream-colored yarn around your index finger. Insert the hook into the ring on your finger, grab the yarn and pull up a loop. Carefully remove the ring from your finger and work the stitches of V1 into the ring.

Step 7
V1 (right side): Ch 1, 6 sc in the ring; do not join, work in continuous rounds (spiral).

Step 8
Place a marker in the last stitch made to indicate the end of the round. Move the marker up as each round is completed.

Step 9
V2: Work 2 sc in each stitch around — you will have 12 sc in this round.

Step 10
V3: * sc in the next stitch, 2 sc in the next stitch; repeat from * around — 18 sc.

Step 11
V4: * sc in the next 2 stitches, 2 sc in the next stitch; repeat from * around — 24 sc.

Step 12
V5: * sc in the next 3 stitches, 2 sc in the next stitch; repeat from * around — 30 sc.

Step 13
