Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

With pink yarn, make a magic ring. Round 1: ch 2, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc → repeat 3 times inside the ring, ch 2 and close with a slip stitch.

Step 2

Round 2: Dark brown: ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc in the 2-ch space from the previous round, ch 1, 3 dc, ch 2 and 3 dc (1 shell) in the next 2-ch spaces × 3 times, ch 1.

Step 3

Make Round 1 twenty-five times: 6 in one bright color (fuchsia or sky blue) and 24 in the other. Join them with sc in the last round of the diagram for the front part.

Step 4

For the back: With dark brown yarn, make a magic ring. Round 1: ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc → repeat 3 times inside the ring, ch 2 and close with a slip stitch.

Step 5

Round 2: Slip stitch to the first ch-2, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2 and 3 dc in the 2-ch space of the previous round. Continue with ch 1, 3 dc (1 shell) in the next 2-ch spaces × 3 times, ch 1.

Step 6

Round 3: Slip stitch to the first ch-2, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2 and 3 dc in the shell from the previous round. Continue with ch 1, 3 dc in the next ch, ch 1, 1 shell in the shell from the previous round × 3 times, ch 1, 3 dc in the next ch and ch 1.

Step 7

Round 4 (first part): Slip stitch to the first ch-2, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2 and 3 dc in the shell from the previous round.

Step 8

Continue with ch 1, 3 dc in the next ch × 2 times, ch 1, 1 shell in the shell from the previous round × 3 times, ch 1, 3 dc in the next ch × 2 times, and ch 1.

Step 9

With brown yarn, join the front and back with 1 round of single crochet, leaving a 30 cm opening on one side unsewn. Insert the cushion inside.

Step 10

On the opening, work both sides with brown yarn: 3 sc, ch 4, skip 2 base stitches, 3 sc.

Step 11

Join the yarn in the last sc of the opening and make a chain cord, passing it through the 4-ch loops with the last round of the back, leaving the end of the cord in the center.

Step 12

Make another cord on the opposite side and tie them together in the center with a knot.
