Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
We first have on the hook the first stitch made with a slip knot.
Step 2
Move the hook from bottom to top and catch the yarn held by the left index finger to make a yarn over.
Step 3
Once the yarn over is made, pass it through the stitch on the hook.
Step 4
In this way, the yarn over passes through the stitch and the stitch that was on the hook is dropped.
Step 5
A new stitch has been created and is now held on the hook.
Step 6
Repeat from step 2 until you have a chain of the desired length.
