Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

START: Begin by making a magic ring to serve as the base for the heart.

Step 2

SINGLE ROUND (Part 1): Inside the magic ring, work the following initial sequence: 1 slip stitch (sl st) and 2 chains (ch).

Step 3

SINGLE ROUND (Part 2): Continue inside the ring by working 3 treble crochet (tr) and then 3 double crochet (dc).

Step 4

SINGLE ROUND (Bottom tip): Work 1 chain, 1 treble crochet (tr) to form the tip, and 1 chain.

Step 5

SINGLE ROUND (Closing): Complete the other side by working 3 double crochet (dc), 3 treble crochet (tr), 2 chains and finish with 1 slip stitch (sl st) inside the ring.

Step 6

RING CLOSURE: Pull the short tail of the magic ring to close the center of the heart firmly. Fasten off and cut the yarn, leaving a tail for sewing if necessary.

Step 7

DECORATIVE FRINGE: Cut 3 pieces of yarn (10 cm) and fold them in half. Insert the hook into the central treble crochet at the bottom tip, pull the yarn loop through, and pass the ends through the loop to form a lark's head knot. Trim to even out.
