Step By Step Crochet

Terms of service

Updated 7 September 2026. These terms govern stepbystepcrochet.com and the Step By Step Crochet app (Crochet paso a paso), including Creators features available in your version.

Operator and scope

The service is provided by Paula Quintana Gonzalez under the Molly Digital Apps brand. Contact: mollydigitalapps@gmail.com. The website offers guides and app links; Creators lets you submit your own patterns for review and publication. Activating a feature may require acceptance of the terms presented at that point.

These terms do not replace the privacy policy or Google, Apple or external shop terms. Reading the website does not require an account. Obtain your legal representative’s authorisation where the law requires it to use a feature.

Account and access

Provide accurate information, protect your credentials and report unauthorised access. Do not impersonate others or share credentials to bypass restrictions. Google sign-in on Android is optional and authenticates you through Google and Supabase. It does not grant access to Gmail or Drive.

You may stop using the service, disconnect Google through your Google account or request Creators account deletion. Disconnecting Google and deleting your account are different actions. Account deletion does not itself cancel purchases or subscriptions managed by a store.

Pattern publication and copyright

Only manual patterns supported by the Creators editor may be submitted, created by you or with the necessary rights. Do not submit copied patterns, others’ PDFs or videos, unlawful or offensive content, unauthorised personal data, spam, advertising or commercial links.

You keep ownership of your content. Submission authorises storage and review; publication grants a non-exclusive licence to display it in the app and perform the technical operations needed to provide it while published. Publication does not transfer authorship or imply payment. Users must respect authors’ rights and cannot resell or republish patterns without permission.

Review, attribution and suspension

Each submission requires human review before publication. We may reject it, request corrections or withdraw content that violates these terms or third-party rights. Approval does not guarantee error-free content or replace the author’s responsibility for their rights. Attribution reflects your current profile, including name or @username changes.

Suspension prevents new submissions and leaves approved patterns published unless there is a separate reason to withdraw them. Report a pattern in the app or email support identifying the content, reason and, for copyright complaints, affected rights. You can request a decision review by email.

Withdrawal and deletion

You may request pattern withdrawal in the Creator Center. Automatic withdrawal hides it from the public catalogue; it may remain as a private draft. Account deletion starts permanent deletion of published patterns, images and Creators data. Technical retries may be needed.

You can also request deletion by emailing mollydigitalapps@gmail.com from your account email. See the privacy policy for the procedure, legal retention and backups. Local projects remain on your device and we cannot erase copies already downloaded by others. The publication licence ends on withdrawal, subject to necessary removal operations and legal retention.

Affiliates, ads and purchases

We may display advertising and recommendations with affiliate links identified alongside them. We may earn a commission from qualifying purchases without an extra charge for using the link. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

External shops are responsible for prices, availability, billing, delivery, warranties and returns; check these before buying. The app’s affiliate programmes do not authorise creators to include advertising or commercial links in submissions. App-store purchases, if offered, are also governed by information and terms shown before payment.

Proper use and availability

Do not access others’ accounts, bypass controls, introduce malicious code or overload the service. Respect intellectual property in guides, images and software. Crochet content is guidance; check instructions, materials and appropriate precautions for your project.

We aim to maintain the service and fix errors, but interruptions, changes or data loss can occur. Keep copies of important projects. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited or your mandatory consumer rights.

Changes and complaints

The current version and date will appear here. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate channels and renewed acceptance requested where applicable. New terms do not retroactively change acquired rights.

Email mollydigitalapps@gmail.com about issues or complaints. Mandatory consumer protections and legally competent courts remain applicable; these terms do not require you to waive them.
