Count every row, your way

Create main and auxiliary counters to track rounds, rows and repeats separately. Patterns also include internal counters to record the progress you update while crocheting.

  • Customisable counters
  • Independent auxiliaries
  • Counters inside every design

Keep rounds separate from repeats

An amigurumi pattern may require you to track a whole round while counting repeats of an increase sequence. Give each task its own counter instead of mixing the two numbers. For a scarf worked back and forth, use a counter for completed rows.

Pause without recounting the whole piece

Update your counter at the end of a row or round before putting your work away. Use an auxiliary counter when a sequence needs several repeats. Counters record your progress; they do not detect stitches or replace the written pattern instructions.

Getting started

  1. Open the counters and create one named for your project.
  2. Increase or decrease the value when you finish or undo a round.
  3. Use an auxiliary counter for repeats and check the values when you return.
